Hello, Friends,
I hope you’ve enjoyed your summer and moving into our beautiful fall season with some rest under your belt. I love Fall. It’s my favorite season of the year.
I enjoyed a wonderful getaway at Blue Lake near Ukiah in California.
Here’s some beautiful pictures from some nice quiet time with friends.

The recent Mystery Writers’ Conference at my favorite bookstore Book Passage exceeded all my expectations!
The generosity of all the faculty and staff was amazing as usual. I saw some of my mentors Hallie Ephron and Kelli Stanley as well as my agent Kimberley Cameron. My writing Bella for over 25 years, Linda Joy Meyers, was there too.

My husband and I are enjoying playing Wingspan with some close friends.
If you haven’t had a chance to play it, it’s very fun.
I’m pleased and happy to announce that my new standalone romantic comedy is in the hands of my agent Kimberley Cameron.
I’m very excited about it, so I will keep you all posted as to next steps and the final title/release date!!!
My first murder mystery book, Cut, recently received a five star rating from Bedside Reading as well as a “Must-Read” distinction.
I’m always so honored when my work is enjoyed and recognized for its craft. You can listen to an excerpt below!
I’ve been officially announced as the General Federation of Women’s Clubs Honorary Chairman of Health & Wellness and Education & Libraries Community Service Programs for 2024-26!
I’m so honored to take on this role serving GFWC nationally through storytelling, events, and presentations sharing my experiences and expertise. You can read the full press release here and find out more about this awesome program!
What I’m Watching/Reading/Listening To:
I’m also finishing the third book in this series by Alka Joshi.
I’m just loving the story and the author is amazing. She takes you right into India with her storytelling!!
At the end of my third book, Hold, Sarah receives a baby pig as a wedding present from Jackie. I wonder if it was one of these?
My husband and I are going to be leaving for Switzerland this month to enjoy two weeks celebrating our birthdays.
I’m very excited to be at the Matterhorn on my birthday!
I hope this beautiful fall season finds you taking at least three deep breaths before you start your day and maybe stretching in your chair if you can’t get away from your desk.
And as always, remember that laughter is the very best medicine, so give yourself a chuckle. Find something that tickles your funny bone. If you can’t, here’s a link from our friend Lily Tomlin, who can very well demonstrate Laughter Yoga.
Be Well,
Amy

so happy for you and all your projects, Enjoy Switzerland!!
Loved reading about what you have been up to. Have fun in Switzerland don’t forget to have some mountain water so good
